Product Description
The Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) is a new generation technology, brighter and clearer images with more agile responding speed. This OLED 1.54" inch model no. UG-2864KSWMG01 OLED display is made of 128 x 64 dots individual mono color. This OLED module is lightweight, low power and small, there are different interfaces optional; it is default SPI, Parallel and I2C interface.
The size of the active area is 1.54” diagonal with module dimension 42.04 x 27.22 x 1.45 mm, active area dimension 35.052 × 17.516 mm. This 1.54 inches OLED display has built-in IC SSD1309 and boasts high contrast ratio 20,000 : 1. Logic supply voltage ranges from 1.65V-3.3V, the typical value is 2.8V. It is great for the application such as medical device, POS system, white goods, home applications, industrial instrument, automation, audio/visual display systems, personal care appliances, household goods, automobile displays, Dynamic information displays etc.

Functional Specification

Power down and Power up Sequence:
To protect OEL panel and extend the panel life time, the driver IC power up/down routine should include a delay period between high voltage and low voltage power sources during turn on/off. It gives the OEL panel enough time to complete the action of charge and discharge before/after the operation.
Power up Sequence:
1. Power up VDD
2. Send Display off command
3. Initialization
4. Clear Screen
5. Power up VCC
6. Delay 100ms
(When VCC is stable)
7. Send Display on command
Power down Sequence:
1. Send Display off command
2. Power down VCC
3. Delay 100ms
(When VCC is reach 0 and panel is completely
discharges)
4. Power down VDD
Precautions for Storing OLED Module
1. When storing the OLED modules, the following precautions are necessary.
i. Store them in a sealed polyethylene bag with the desiccant.
ii. Store them in a dark place. Do not expose to sunlight or fluorescent light, keep the temperature between 0℃ and 35℃, and keep the relative humidity between 40%RH and 60%RH.
iii. The polarizer surface should not come in contact with any other objects (We advise you to store them in the anti-static electricity container in which they were shipped).
2. Others
i. If the OLED modules have been operating for a long time,it will cause brightness decay. It is no recommended to showing the same display patterns for a long time, otherwise the display patterns may remain on the screen as ghost images and it is unrecoverable.
ii. To minimize the performance degradation of the OLED modules resulting from destruction caused by static electricity etc., exercise care to avoid holding the following sections when handling the modules.
- Exposed area of the printed circuit board.
-Terminal electrode sections.
