SAEF TECHNOLOGY SFTO280HD-7069A-N is a diagonal size 2.8” inch round shape IPS type TFT LCD Display with resolution 480x480 pixels.

Power supply voltage for logic (VDD):  1.6~3.3 V, typical value is 2.8 V.
Input voltage ( Vin ) : VDD+0.3 V
Note1: Absolute maximum rating is the limit value beyond which the IC maybe broken.They do not assure operations.
Note2: Background color changes slightly depending on ambient temperature. This Phenomenon is reversible.
Ta≦70℃: 75%RH max
Ta>70℃: absolute humidity must be lower than the humidity of 75%RH at 70℃
Note3: Ta at -30℃ will be <48hrs, at 80 ℃ will be <120hrs

How is the resolution of a circular screen described?
In fact, the display principle of LCD circular LCD screen is the same as that of conventional rectangular LCD screen, but through the production technology of LCD glass and the adjustment of screen parameters, the circular screen can be displayed normally in a circular state. The key to the decisive factor is the design and formulation of the drive scheme, that is, how to establish a good bridge between the round LCD screen and the motherboard. Circular LCD screens are basically used on smart devices, and more attention is paid to driver schemes, UI interface design schemes, etc. Therefore, the round LCD screen is actually an innovative, intelligent and high-end LCD display product. The display size is relatively small, and the commonly used ones are 2.1 inches, 2.36 inches, 3.4 inches, 6.2 inches, etc. The circular LCD screen also has its own unique common faults, such as the display screen arc around the screen is not on the screen, or the arc around the arc is white.

This is an example of a square screen, if the yellow squares are pixels, then the screen of an Android wear device is made by physically cutting out the pixels (screens) outside the red circles.

So how does the machine itself make sense of this circular screen?

The software logic inside the machine still works as a square screen, that is, at the software level, the four corners that have been cut off are present in the software logic.

How circular screens work

Artificially modify the software system so that the content of the software interface is only displayed in the circle area, shielding the four corners that do not exist.
